Share effective methods on how to improve domain name trust

1. The website must have a privacy policy

There’s no need to look for the privacy policy of my blog, I haven’t added it yet because the entire website isn’t ready yet.

2. Provide complete contact information

Include phone number and real address.

3. Before there is a lot of good content, the website should be at least forty or fifty pages long

4. Link to several authoritative websites in the same industry

The above four points come from a big change in the entire bidding system of Google Adwords two months ago. In the past, Adwords ad rankings were based on price and click-through rate. In July, Google informed Adwords customers that the quality of the website itself would be included in the entire bidding system, and lower-quality websites would have to pay higher fees.

Many webmasters have reported that this change requires them to pay two to three times more to maintain the same ad ranking.

After some webmasters contacted Google, Google's answer was to improve the above four items. While this is for Adwords advertisers, why not use the same criteria when it comes to ranking?

5. Register the domain name for a few more years instead of renewing it every year

The domain name's Whois data matches the contact information on the website, both of which were mentioned in a Google patent application.

Most websites share an IP address on a virtual host. However, some people suggest that an independent IP address is a sign of a high-quality website, which is also very logical. But Matt Cutts once said, don't worry about this. It's up to you to decide which side to believe.

7. The server responds quickly

However, a logical inference is that if your website is down for a lot of time, it means that you are not serious about this website, and the quality may not be high.

8. The HTML code of the web page has been verified by W3C

At least reduce serious code errors. Matt Cutts also said, don't worry about this, most websites have coding errors.

9. There are no or few dead link 404 errors on the website. These may be very small factors. But it may have a slight impact in total. Why not do something that is easy to change?
